Sueann Spang

Sueann “Bubba Sue” Spang, age 67, quietly and comfortably departed at home on May 8, 2021. Sueann Elizabeth Spang was born on February 20, 1954, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth (Holzman) Spang. Sueann, along with her contagious smile, was a woman of many talents and interests. Many who loved her knew her from the involvement she had at the Dog House, Ramjets, the American Legion, the Eagles Club, EAA, Abate, Relay of Life, Sandi Paws, and Affordable Family Pet Grooming.

Survivors include her son, Brian (Rose) Immel; two daughters, Shara (Christopher) Byas, Selina Cadogan; two special brothers, Lyle (Dianne) Halfman, and Kevin Wolfe; special sister, Kathy “Spike” Hilbert-Thelke; thirteen grandchildren, Christopher Jr, Kristina, Dennis, Taryn, Makya, Mason, Sydney, Brianna, Sequoyah, Trent, Jadyn, Alanna, Zariah, Raeyah; two great-grandchildren, Silas and Dutchess (dog); godson, Jackson; and two fur babies, Doozy and Blue-Jay. Sueann was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Spang; her mother, Liz Spang; her sister, Sharon Brendl; her son, Scottie Michael Immel.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 1-6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services. Interment will take place at a later date at Rienzi Cemetery.

The family would like to extend an overwhelming thanks to Trent Cadogan, Bryan Schabel, Brenda Baeton, Patrick Filipiak, Melissa Brunke, Emily (nurse), Justice (CNA), and anyone else who took part in making the last year as fulfilling as it could be.
