Susan L. Fochs

Susan Lynn Fochs of Hilbert passed away on Thursday June 27, 2019 at the age of 62 surrounded by family. Susan was born on September 24, 1956 to James and Arlene (Endries) Liebzeit.



On May 21, 1977 she married the love of her life, Thomas Fochs of 42 years.



Susan was a very energetic and loving person. Her pride was spending time with family. Susan always put everyone’s needs before her own. She loved spending time outdoors and taking care of the yard. She enjoyed going and supporting her grandchildren in their events.  Susan loved going to Cranberry Fest in Warrens, Wisconsin, which is how she spent many birthday weekends. She had a passion for shopping. Susan took pride in starting the post prom party for the Hilbert High School. She was a long time member of the St. John Sacred Heart Parish in St. John where she also belonged to the  Christian Women.



Susan was a stay at home mother until her kids were in school. She worked at Schwartz’s Supper Club in St. Anna and F&M Bank in Hilbert and Potter. She also worked at Wisconsin Institute of Urology until she couldn’t work any longer. Susan also helped on the family farm in the Town of Woodville.



Susan is survived by her husband: Tom; her children: Mike (Carrie) Fochs, Mark (Kelly) Fochs, Shelley Fochs and Connie (Josh) Davies; her grandchildren Tyler, Kinsley, & Hannah Fochs, Alissa & Logan Fochs, Owen, Paisley, Tinlee & Raelynn Davies; mother: Arlene Liebzeit; father James Liebzeit and friend Nancy Diedrich; father-in-law Howard Fochs; brothers and sisters, in-laws, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.



She is preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Fochs; mother-in-law: Roselyn Fochs; brother: Raymond Liebzeit; grandparents: Roland and Marge Liebzeit and Albin and Lillian Endries.



Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. John Sacred Heart Parish in St. John with Rev. Michael Betley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until 10:15 am.  A parish vigil service will be held Friday evening at the funeral home at the close of the visitation.
