Sylveria Krebsbach

Sylveria (Anhalt) Krebsbach, 87, of Fond du Lac, passed away on November 24, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Sylveria was born to Gilbert and Veronica (Karls) Anhalt on June 10, 1934 in the town of Calumet. She married Gerald Krebsbach on June 18, 1955 in New Holstein.

Sylveria was employed at Yonkers (previously HC Prange) for 26 years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 454 in Mt. Calvary for 23 years and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Unit 1803 in Fond du Lac, a past leader and softball coach of the Grandview 4-H Club, worked the 4-H Food Booth at the Fond du Lac County Fair for 25 years, and a Den Mother during her son’s Cub Scout years. She was a member of the We Love to Dance Club with her husband Gerry.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Gerald; a son, David of Fond du Lac; three daughters, Sharon Rauls of New Holstein, Phyllis Wimmer of Fond du Lac and Linda Mae (Jim) Prichard of Lewisville, TX.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; eight brothers, Leo (Elaine) Anhalt of Kiel, Wilfred (Arlene) Anhalt of Marytown, Edward Anhalt of New Holstein, Robert Anhalt of New Holstein, James (Vicky) Anhalt of Chilton, Joseph Anhalt of New Holstein, Richard (Jean) Anhalt of New Holstein and Michael (Theresa) Anhalt of Fond du Lac; four sisters, Rosemary (Glen) Lindstrom of Maryville, Tenn., Gloria (Phillip) Endries of St. Nazianz, Mary Lou (Orville) Behnke of Kaukauna and Luella (Tom) Bender of New Holstein; sister-in-law, Patricia Krebsbach of Kiel; and many nieces, nephews and other family members along with many friends she has made over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffrey; a sister, Valeria Pingel; two brothers, Orville Anhalt and John Anhalt; sisters-in-law, Dolores Anhalt, Clara Anhalt, Nina Anhalt, Lucille Daun, Marietta Krebsbach, Emily Krebsbach, Evelyn Krebsbach; brothers-in-law, Ray Pingel, Claudie Krebsbach, Orville Krebsbach, Norman Krebsbach and Alvin Daun.

Services- Sylveria’s family will greet friends and relatives for a time of visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., and again from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth St. Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment is at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery.
