Tamara Lynn Guse

Tamara Lynn Guse (Mathers), 63, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022 after many years of living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Tammy was born on November 6, 1958 to Donald and Dorothy Mathers in Fond du Lac. After graduating from Fond du Lac Goodrich High School in 1977, she worked many years at the Wright Brothers Paper Box Company on Morris Street, where she established many life-long friendships.

In 1989, she married Douglas Guse and became the proud stepmother of four daughters, Laura, Connie, Samantha and Elizabeth.

Tammy was known as the life of the party with her contagious laugh and open arms to everyone! In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family. As her family grew, they enjoyed spending time Up North, camping and enjoying their backyard by watching basketball games in the family driveway, having campfires and enjoying a drink or two!

To the amazement of many around her, Tammy always remained positive on life throughout her ongoing battle with MS. Tammy was always laughing or smiling!

Tammy is survived by her daughters and grandchildren: Laura Jahns (Taylor and Gavin), Connie and Jeff Coon (Samuel, Grace and Joseph), Samantha and Kevin Baker (Benjamin, Lauren, Alison and Megan), Elizabeth and Eric Krueger (Ethan, Ty and Anna), her siblings; Wanda and Mike Hayward, Linda and Jim Kelley, Donna and Dave Perry, Charlie and Mary Mathers, and Connie and Jerry Quackenboss as well as many nieces and nephews who always had a special place with Tammy, as well as many life-long friends.

Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Guse; her parents, Don and Dorothy Mathers; her parents-in-law, Melvin and Alice Guse; her sister, Patricia Dempsey and her sister, Priscilla Connor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
