Thomas N. Twohig

Thomas N. Twohig, 83, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Oak Creek Assisted Living in Kiel. He was born on April 2, 1937 in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Neil and Marie Twohig (nee Powers). After serving three years in the U.S. Army, Tom married Diane Wendling on September 15, 1962 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. He worked over 30 years at Mercury Marine.  Tom and Diane always enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hiking, biking, or taking a walk. He also liked watching car races and attended many different races, such as the Indy 500, Daytona 500 and Talladega. Tom loved all Wisconsin sports, photography, and he always knew what the forecast was.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Diane; daughters, Lynn (Frank) Skinner of Fountain, CO and Lori (Troy) Jochims of Hortonville, WI; grandchildren, Shane and Karissa Jochims; and great-grandson, Collin Jochims. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
