Thomas W. Huskey, age 67, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born on June 10, 1948 in Fond du Lac, the son of Leonard and Lucille (Klinke) Huskey. Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1966-70. On June 15, 1972 he married Lynda Weber at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Tom was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office retiring in 2003. He was an avid Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks fan. Tom missed his calling to be a sports announcer. Tom enjoyed traveling, talking politics, and was very social and just liked talking to people in general. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #270 and was crossing guard around town for the last ten years. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren and his two cats Joplin and Samantha.
SURVIVORS: his wife Lynda of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Lisa (Josh) Murray of Waukesha, Angie (John) Lewis of New Glarus; four grandchildren, Alayna, Elizabeth, Noah, and Hannah; sisters in law and brothers in law, Joan (Lee) Kammerlohr of Quincy, IL, Gary (Chris) Weber of Chandler, AZ, David Miller of Connorsville, WI, Charles (Kathy) Weber of Menomonee, WI, Richard (Mary) Weber of Chandler, AZ, and Mark (Diane) Weber of Maple Grove, MN; one aunt, Lorraine Sonnenberg of Fond du Lac; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister in law, Marilyn Miller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 3-5 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral service will be held following the visitation at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
