Uralia J. Kaehne

Uralia J. Kaehne, 101, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Tuesday July 16, 2013 at Manorcare in Fond du Lac. She was born on Dec. 28, 1911 in Marblehead, the daughter of the late Anthonio and Beatrice Cassetta Testolin. Uralia was the oldest living member of the Casetta family. On Nov. 9, 1927, Uralia married Andrew Polzean at St. Patrick’s Church in Fond du Lac. Then on July 27, 1957, she married Matthew Kaehne at Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac. She was employed at the Fond du Lac City Hospital for 11 years and then at Crambo’s Packing Company. Later she provided private home health care. Uralia was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Christian Women at Sacred Heart.

Survivors include her grandchildren Douglas (Ann) Polzean of Kewaskum, Perry (Mary) Polzean of Campbellsport, Jo DeLio of Appleton, and Carol (Adam) Kulhanek of Mt. Calvary, her great grandchildren Kevin (Kathi), Bridget, Sarah, Morgan, and Nicole, her great great grandchildren Harrison, Jackson, and Landon, her brother George (Ella) Testolin of Madison, her sisters Armenia Rautenberg of Fond du Lac and Geraldine Bargenquast of Red Granite, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Uralia was preceded in death by her husbands, her son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Martha Polzean, her brother Gerald Testolin and his wife Bonnie, and her brothers-in-law Ed Rautenberg and Wally Bargenquast

Visitation will be Friday July 19th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave. Fond du Lac from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 PM at the church. Burial will be Saturday July 20th at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden. Memorials are appreciated to Holy Family Parish.
