Valeria F. Leasa

Valeria
F. Leasa, age 84, passed away on March 16, 2015 at Sterling House of Fond du
Lac.  She was born July 2, 1930 in the
town of Byron, a daughter of the late August and Florence (Wietor) Rose and was
united in marriage to William J. Leasa on August 26, 1950.  In 1963, they formed W.J. Leasa Electric,
Inc. and worked together for many years serving the Fond du Lac area.
Valeria and Bill enjoyed
spending time with family and neighbors at their cottage in Mt. Morris, WI.  “Larry,” as Valeria was known to friends and
family, also enjoyed bowling and gardening, but most of all, loved the time she
spent with her children and grandchildren. 
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Survivors
include her children, Mona and Donald Eiring, Marc and Mary Leasa, Lynn and Jeffrey
Penn, Jay and Laura Leasa, Terry and Renee Leasa, and Jodi and Dustin Hull, all
in the Fond du Lac area;  Grandchildren
Chad (Dr. Anna) Eiring of Sandy, UT, Jason (Nikki Bersch) Eiring, Nicolette
Leasa of Savannah, GA, Elliott (Jamie Manowske) Leasa, Mitchell, Mason and
Lydia Penn, Amanda and Austin Leasa, Jenni (Jake Resop) Luecking, Brian (Kerry
Murphy) Luecking, Anna Leasa and Ethan, Madison and Carson Hull ;  Two great-grandchildren Parker and Avery Eiring
of Sandy, UT.

Survivors
also include her sister, Elda “Chuck” Hayward and a brother-in-law, Jack
Meekin.  She is further survived by many
nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Val
was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 2006, and Bill’s sisters, Beatrice
(Clyde) Miller, Evangelin “Dolly” (Harold) Johnson, and Joan Meekin and Valeria’s
brother-in-law Donald Hayward.

The
family would like to thank Dr. Sergi, the staff at Harbor Haven Rehabilitation and
most recently, her special caregivers at Sterling House for their care and compassion
over Val’s year-long battle with cancer. 

Visitation: Family will welcome
relatives and friends Saturday March 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S.
Peters Ave. in Fond du Lac from 10 a.m. until the time of service. 

Service: A Memorial Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church
in Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place.
