Valerie M. Zeman

Valerie Mae (Hanson) Zeman, 85, of Eden, Wisconsin passed in her sleep on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lutheran Homes & Health Services in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. 



Valerie was born in the Town of Irving, Jackson County Wisconsin on May 30, 1931, the daughter of Tedeman Hanson & Emily (Tucker) Hanson. 



She married her beloved husband Gerald Duane Zeman on August 5, 1950 at the Little Norway Lutheran Church near Black River Falls, Wisconsin. 



Valerie and her husband Gerald were long time employees and retirees of the Campbellsport School District. They lived for many decades in the communities of Campbellsport and most recently lived in Eden, Wisconsin, since their retirement. 



Valerie is survived by her sister Genevieve “Gen” Brown of Princton, Minnesota, brother Henry “Hank” Hanson and wife Alice of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, son Darrel Everett Zeman and wife Linda (O’Brien) Zeman of Alvin, Texas, daughter-in-Law Patricia (Wilcox) Zeman, widow of Daniel of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, daughter Peggy Lynn Zeman-Pattee and husband Thomas Pattee of Lomira, Wisconsin, daughter Nancy Jean Zeman and husband John Herzog of School Hill, Wisconsin and son Randy Jay Zeman of Yuma, Arizona. She also leaves behind grandsons Christopher Zeman, John Beesley, Jeremy Zeman, Matthew Zeman, Ian Zeman and granddaughter Heather (Zeman) Sabel as well as nine great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. 



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Duane Zeman, sons Garry Lea Zeman, Daniel Eugene Zeman and Paul Wayne Zeman, granddaughter Martana Mae Zeman and siblings Leona “Lee” Clausen, Pvt. Everett Hanson USAR, Katherine “Katie” Ranten, Thelma Bunderson and Charles “Chuck” Hanson. 





Visitation will be Thursday, April 27th from 4:00 PM until a time of service at 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. 



Interment will be in Little Norway Lutheran Church Cemetery, Black River Falls, alongside her husband Gerald and sons Garry and Paul during a private family graveside service. Online guestbook and condolences are at www.twohigfunerals.com
