Virginia R. Borcyk

Virginia R. Borcyk, 90, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born on July 22, 1928, in Blencoe, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Ella Moyers Johnson.
She graduated from Blencoe High School. On December 28, 1946, she married Leonard J. Borcyk
in Blencoe, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
Virginia worked in the Claims Department for an Insurance Company in Omaha, NE. After moving
to Fond du Lac, she volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital for a number of years. She was active in
quilting and knitting groups, and enjoyed knitting various items for the Children’s Aid Program for
Snug Hugs, Chicago, IL for over 15 years. She was an avid Cubs fan.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jacquelyn (Robert) Greuel of Fond du Lac, WI, and Nancy
(Ronald) Senske of Omaha, NE; her two grandsons: Burton Greuel of Appleton, WI and Nicholas
(Jacqueline) Senske of Roland, IA; three great-grandchildren: Oscar, Helena and Felix Senske; and
her niece, Mary Ellen (Carl) Hanson of Albuquerque, NM.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Odette Baker and a nephew, Stephen
Cranno and her faithful little dog “George”.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach
Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.
FUNERAL: Private family service will be held after the visitation on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at
Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, with Outreach Chaplain Karen Kraus officiating. Cremation to follow
after the service.
