William K. Schneider

William K. “Bill” Schneider, age 56, of Malone, passed away unexpectedly due to complications from a recently diagnosed aggressive cancer. He was surrounded by his family in faith and peace. He was born January 17, 1964, in Fond du Lac, son of the late Anthony and Marlene Schneider. On May 9, 1987, he married Beth Simon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg, WI.



Bill worked most of his life as a service manager for Ahearn Gross Plumbing. He was a jack-of-all-trades, hard-working, and would do anything for anyone without a fuss. He was humble and kind, living life without any regrets. He always said, “Health is wealth,” and, “Each day is a blessing.” He always found a way to make everyone around him happier, filling many people’s lives with joy, humor, love, and brightness. His family is sure he is soaring with the angels and they will continue to celebrate his life that was exceptionally lived.



Bill is survived by his wife, Beth; children: Justin and Olivia; Beth’s parents: Alan and Judith Simon; sisters: Wendy (Robert) Plawski, Catherine (Butch) Drew, Joan (Paul) Mittlesteadt, Diane (Joe) Thome, and Rose (Tim) Ahearn; brothers: Chuck (Julie) Schneider and Bob (Brooke) Schneider; sisters-in-law: Michelle (Dan) Burns, Amy (Mark) Feyen, Ellen (Eric Slove) Simon, and Catherine Schneider; brothers-in-law: Mark (Maureen) Kraus and David (Carrie) Simon; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Debra Kraus, brothers Raymond and Charles (infant), grandparents Arlin and Ethel Huebschman, Victor and Frances Schneider, Margaret and LaVern Halbach, and Clem and Olive Simon. 



A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Church for family only.  However, it will be live streamed through Holyland Catholic Parishes Facebook page.  A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Johnsburg Athletic Club Ballpark from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.    



In keeping with Bill’s spirit, a memorial fund will be established.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of William K Schneider in care of Wieting Family Funeral Home. Please address the envelope as follows:
