Old Retlaw Furnishings Benefitting Non Profits

When the renovation of the Hotel Retlaw in downtown Fond du Lac is complete it will include new furnishings. To make room for those furnishings the new owners donated furnishings out of over 100 rooms to non-profits like the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County. Fond du Lac Community Development Director Dyann Benson says the old furnishings weren’t part of the new owners’ vision for the historic hotel. She says with the final pieces of financing for the renovation falling into place the construction for the renovation will begin soon.
