One Dead in Town of Oakfield Crash

Authorities have released the name of the woman who died in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in the Town of Oakfield. 89-year-old Charlotte Roessl of West Bend was killed when she failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Wolf Road and US Highway 151 and was hit by a car being driven north on 151 by 33-year-old Noredine Velijoski of Waupun. Velijoski and his passenger, 27 year old Alicia Wheeler of Waupun were taken to Waupun Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A one-year-old infant riding in the car was not injured, but was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The crash happened just before 10:20 am.

One person was killed and two were injured in a two-vehicle
crash Friday morning in the Town of Oakfield. Officials with the Wisconsin State
Patrol say the accident happened just before 10:20 am at the intersection of
Wolf Road and Highway 151. An 89-year-old woman from West Bend was driving
north on Wolf Road when she failed to stop for a stop sign and was hit by a car
being driven north on Highway 151 by a 33-year-old man from Waupun. The West Bend woman sustained significant injuries and died at the scene. The 33-year-old man and
his passenger, a 27-year-old woman from Waupun were both taken to Waupun
Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A one-year
old infant was riding in the car with them, but was not injured thanks to being
properly restrained in a child safety seat. The infant was taken to the
hospital for evaluation due to the seriousness of the crash. One lane of
Highway 151 was blocked for just over two hours because of the crash. The
Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the incident
