One Hurt In Washington County Accident

Washington County Sheriff’s officials say a 25-year-old Village of Menomonee Falls resident suffered serious life-threatening injuries in an accident on Elmwood Road early Sunday morning. The vehicle was eastbound in the 4000 block of Elmwood Road at a high rate of speed when it struck a retaining wall in the south ditch. The vehicle continued to travel in the ditch line striking a utility pole and several trees. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was unconscious. Flight for Life flew that person to an area hospital. The accident was reported shortly after 2:30 a.m.
