Open House At NFDL Fire Dept Saturday

The North Fond du Lac Fire Department will be holding an open house at the Fire Department Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is a chance to meet firefighters and EMS crews, take tours of the station and vehicles, see a vehicle extrication demonstration, and Flight for Life will be there depending on their schedule. Agnesian HealthCare will also have representatives at the open house. Information will be available on strokes and the Stop the Bleed campaign.  Brats and burgers will be available for sale. Fire Chief Jake Flaherty says they will also have drawings for the North Fond du Lac Fire Department Association Raffle. Money from the raffle is used to purchase equipment for the Fire Department. This past year the association paid for about half of the cost of installing new lockers in their fire bay. Top prizes for the raffle are $1,000, $500 and $250 in cash with 29 prizes in all.
