Opioid Prescriptions Drop in Wisconsin

Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Controlled Substances Board say that over the past year, opioid prescriptions have dropped 10% in the state. Attorney General Brad Schimel, who introduced the “Dose of Reality” campaign, says prevention, treatment, and enforcement all play roles in battling the opioid epidemic. Schimel adds that the drop in prescriptions will help less people get hooked to pills or other drugs down the road.
