Oshkosh Corp Gets New Army Contracts

Oshkosh Corp. has secured $258 million in orders to rebuild
trucks and manufacture trailers for the U.S. Army. 670 heavy tactical vehicles
will be rebuilt by Oshkosh Corp. The Army says they save around 25 percent on costs when the trucks are rebuilt rather than completely replaced.The
company will also produce 356 vehicle trailers as part of the latest order from the Army. The contracts support several thousand jobs at Oshkosh
Corp, which is one of the Fox
Valley
’s largest
manufacturers.
