Oshkosh Correctional Employee Facing Sexual Contact Charges

An Oshkosh correctional institution employee is accused of having sexual contact with an inmate at the prison. 38-year old April Paulsen is charged with second-degree sexual assault by correctional staff. She is also accused of giving the inappropriate pictures of herself to the inmate. An investigation began back in May after security was tipped off to the activity – just about a month after she started working at the facility. According to the criminal complaint, Paulsen worked with the inmate in the kitchen. She is set to return to court on August 6^th.
