Oshkosh Defense Gets Order For JLTVs

Oshkosh Corporation’s Defense Division has received a $243 million order from the U.S. Army to build Joint Light Tactical Vehicles. The agreement calls for building 657 vehicles and 2,977 kits and related support for the Army and Marine Corps. The vehicles, trailers and installed kits for the order will be delivered by early 2018. “The JLTV program is providing our Soldiers and Marines with the world’s most capable light tactical vehicle,” said Wilson R. Jones, Oshkosh Corporation president and chief executive officer. The order is part of a $6.7 billion contract Oshkosh Defense has with the U.S. Army.
