Oshkosh Murder Suspect In Court

The 30-year-old Oshkosh man suspected of shooting his 42-year-old girlfriend to death early last Sunday morning has been charged with 1st degree intentional homicide. Samson Gomoll was in Winnebago County Court Tuesday. He allegedly shot Stacey Strange to death in their apartment after an argument. According to the criminal complaint a woman who gave Strange a ride home witnessed an argument between the two and Gomoll pulled out a handgun from under a pillow on a couch and shot Strange four or five times. He then pointed the gun at the witness and told her to leave. Investigators later found the gun in the apartment. Bond was set at $1 million cash.
