Oshkosh Officers Cleared In Fatal Shooting

Winnebago County District Attorney Christian Gossett says two Oshkosh police officers were justified in using deadly force when 28-year-old Isaiah Tucker was shot and killed on July 31st. Tucker was taking things from a residence where he used to live. He was in a car in a garage when officers confronted him. After crashing the car through a garage door he got stuck in the yard. He then sped at an officer. Officer Aaron Achterberg fired at the car and hit Tucker twice. Tucker crashed the car in the street. He was found wounded and hiding in a shed. He died on the way to a hospital. Officer Achterberg and Officer Kyle Roberts fired a total of 11 shots during the incident.
