Oshkosh PD Looking For Vehicles Involved In Incident

Police in Oshkosh are asking for the public’s help in an incident Thursday night in the 700 block of West 6th Street. Just after 9:30 that evening they received a report of three vehicles driving recklessly. The three vehicles left the area, but returned a short time later. Police says that’s when a 20-year-old Oshkosh man got out of one of the vehicles and went to the trunk where he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the other vehicles. He and his vehicle were located in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Witzel Avenue. A 20-year-old Oshkosh woman and 1-year-old and 6-month-old child were also in the vehicle. A BB gun was also found in the vehicle. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying or displaying a facsimile weapon and bail jumping. Police are asking for the public’s health in identifying the other two vehicles involved in the reckless driving; a dark, gray colored vehicle and black or blue colored vehicle along with the drivers and occupants of those vehicles. Anyone with information is asked to call the Oshkosh Police Department at (920) 236-5700. If you’d like to remain anonymous you can contact the Winnebago County Wide Crime Stoppers at (920) 231-8477.
