Oshkosh Police Arrest Two Suspects in Saturday Armed Robberies

Oshkosh Police have arrested two men that are believed to
be connected to a pair of robberies that happened Saturday. Officers were
called to the first armed robbery at a business in the 1000 block of north Main
Street around 5 pm Saturday, then around 10:30 pm were called to the second
robbery in the 800 block of north Main Street.


A news release says in both incidents, two men entered the
businesses and demanded money. One of the suspects showed a gun to employees,
and then the men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was
injured in either incident.


Police say they took the two suspects into custody around 2
AM Sunday, and recovered the gun that was believed to be used in both robberies.
The men are being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
