Oshkosh Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing

Oshkosh Police have a suspect in custody they believe stabbed two 18-year-old Oshkosh men early Friday morning. One of those men died at the scene and the other is in an Intensive Care Unit of a hospital. The stabbings happened at a home in the 500 block of Mt. Vernon Street where police were called after 2 a.m. for a disturbance involving weapons. A 17-year-old Oshkosh man was taken into custody. He was treated for stab wounds. Police say the suspect knew the victims and the community was not in danger.

The stabbings happened in the 500 block of Mt. Vernon Street. The suspect is a light skin black man approximately 18 to 20 years of age. He many have suffered a stab wound that requires medical assistance. Police say the suspect knew the victims and the community is not in danger.
