Oshkosh Police Make Child Porn Arrest

The Oshkosh Police Department arrested a 21 year-old male at his residence in the 400 block
of W. 11th Ave. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 for three counts of exposing genitals to
minors; three counts of exposing a child to harmful materials; unlawful use of computerized
communication systems; and child enticement after a month long investigation showed the 21
year-old created a fake Face Book account and sent photos of his genitals to female minors.
He was taken to jail.
The 21 year-old male used the name “David James” on his fake Face Book account and had
been in contact with over 60 females since June 2015. Some of the contacts made with the
females included females sending nude photos to the male. Oshkosh Police investigators have
been in contact with three female minor victims.
Investigators suspect there may be more victims related to this incident. Parents should check
their child’s or teens Face Book accounts to see if they were contacted by this subject. If they
believe contact was made with this male, they should contact School Resource Officer David
Maas at (920) 236-5700. The investigation continues into this incident.
