Owner Of Alligator Found In Long Lake Located

It appears the owner of the alligator found in Long Lake over the 4th of July weekend, had been located.

Now the owner just needs to provide proof of ownership before the gator is released back into the care of the owner.

The 2-ft long gator was found swimming in Long Lake, in Fond du Lac County, back on July 1st. A group of kids spotted the gator and pulled it from the water with a net.

The gator escaped an outdoor enclosure, and the owner will need to provide a plan that would prevent any further escapes.

The alligator has been in the care of aquatic animal rescue company located in Menasha, WI.
