Packers Take Another DB In 2nd Round

The Green Bay Packers have selected Miami, OH cornerback Quinten Rollins with the 62nd overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Rollins talked to the Wisconsin media in conference call.  He says that he played four years of basketball because that scholarship route was best four his education.  The with a semester left of eligibility, he was given a tryout with the football team and earned a starting spot, and then became the MAC Defensive Player of the Year.  Rollins says that his point guard skills helps him in the secondary.  Rollins is the 2nd Packer defensive back to have Division One College Basketball experience as Demetri Goodson played for Gonzaga.
