Parents Arrested In Death Of 3-Year Old Lomira Boy

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Lomira Police Department have announced that following their investigation into the death of a 3-year old boy this past Friday evening, they have arrested the mother of the boy, 32-year old Jamie Hildebrandt. 

The father of the child, 33-year old Frank Pleester, Jr. was taken into custody on a probation hold but had not yet been charged in the case. Jamie Hildebrandt was arrested and booked into the Dodge County Jail on a charge of of Child Neglect Causing Death. 

Two other children in the home were removed by Dodge County Human Services, and are safe. The 3-year old child was found dead in a home in the 700 block of Railroad Avenue in the Village of Lomira last Friday evening. Following an extensive investigation into this case, and based on the autopsy findings, the Sheriff’s Office explains it was revealed that the child’s death was not by natural causes. Authorities are continuing the investigation into the case.
