People Involved in Highway 151 Crash Identified
people involved in a two-vehicle crash along Highway 151 on Thursday. 66-year
old Michael Beckwith of
life-threatening injuries in the collision between Beaver Dam and Waupun. The
Sheriff’s Office says his condition has improved, but his exact condition is
unknown.
Beckwith was apparently trying to enter a crossover in the divided highway
to turn around when he was struck by a pickup truck – occupied by 58-year old
David Neitzke and 58- year old Renee Neitzke of Omro. Neither suffered injuries
that required immediate treatment.
Police remind people to take extreme care to
ensure any traffic with the right-of-way can safely pass before entering or
crossing the highway.
