PGA Championship Preview Day

Defending PGA Championship winner Rory McIlroy was at Whistling Straits in the Sheboygan area on Friday along with other PGA dignitaries to preview the 2015 PGA Championship held at the world famous golf venue.  The 2015 edition will be the 3rd time the final major of the season will be held at the course.  This year’s tournament is August 13th to the 16th.

The press conference had a Wisconsin flavor as McIlroy was given a Wisconsin Badgers jersey by Todd Dekker, father of former Badger and Sheboygan native Sam Dekker.  He was also given a Bucks jersey by head coach Jason Kidd, and a Packers jersey by former Packer and Sheboygan native Bill  Schroeder.
