Plea Hearing For Campbellsport Man Today

There’s a plea hearing this afternoon for the 25-year-old Campbellsport man suspected of driving drunk last September and causing an accident that claimed the lives of two Eden residents and seriously injured their 13-year-old daughter. Daniel Shea will be in Fond du Lac County Court for the hearing this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Shea was allegedly drunk when he drove over the centerline on Highway 45 near Kewaskum on September 13th of last year and hit another vehicle. Seventy-three-year-old Paul and 59-year-old Joanna Grahl were killed in the accident. Thirteen-year-old Esther Grahl was taken to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. According to the criminal complaint Shea told authorities he had been drinking and may have been texting at the time of accident. Shea said he was on his way to a baseball game in Kewaskum.
