Police Beef with Rogue Steer in Campbellsport
Cambellsport Police got into a bit of a beef with a big
steer that busted loose from a meat processing plant on Tuesday. The officers
and a
dealt with the animal, which was reportedly wild and out of control.
They
waited until they had a chance to shoot at the steer when there were no houses
lined up behind it. Police say time was also a factor, as children would soon
be walking down that street on the way to school. Nobody was injured by the
steer in that incident.
