Poll Shows Tight Races as Election Grows Closer

With less than a month until the general elections, the
gubernatorial race remains a tight one. According to a new Marquette University
Law School

poll, which was conducted from October 3rd thru the 7th,
shows Governor Scott Walker with 47-percent support among likely voters.
Democratic challenger Tony Evers is just a point behind, with 46-percent
support. Last month’s poll showed Evers up 49-percent to Walker’s 44-percent.

In other races,
incumbent Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin maintains a 53 to 43-percent lead
over Republican Leah Vukmir – and Republican incumbent Attorney General Brad
Schimel leads Democratic challenger Josh Kaul 47 to 43 percent. The poll
questioned one-thousand registered voters, and had a 3.6 percentage point
margin of error.
