Prairie Fest Returns Saturday

The annual outdoor nature event Prairie Fest takes place tomorrow, August 6, at the Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum located at 400 University Drive on the UW Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus.

The free, family-oriented environmental education event runs 9 AM to noon and has activities for all ages.

Some of this years activities include informational nature walks, an outdoor yoga session in the prairie, A youth obstacle course, kids crafts and activities, educational booths and a butterfly release at 11:30.
