Progress Continues on Two Construction Projects in FDL Area

Work continues to progress on two construction projects in
the Fond du Lac area.

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works says
the Highway 23 resurfacing project from Rolling Meadows Drive in Fond du Lac to
Townline Road in the Town of Lamartine is nearing completion. Workers this week
will be beginning final signing, pavement marking, rumble strip and restoration
work. Highway 23 remains closed to through traffic in the project limits, with
work being conducted under flagging operations when the detour is not in place.
The resurfacing project is expected to wrap up in November.

The Arndt Street Bridge replacement project continues to
progress as well. The Department of Public Works says the contractor will be
installing the railing on the new bridge deck this week, and a crew will be
forming and pouring the new concrete sidewalks on the east and west ends of the
bridge. Arndt Street remains closed to through traffic between Lincoln Avenue
and Satterlee Street. The bridge replacement project is expected to wrap up near
the end of this month.
