Public Meetings on Winnebago System Walleye Management Begin this Week

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has a series of
public meetings scheduled to discuss walleye management on the Lake Winnebago System.
At the meetings, DNR staff will be on hand to share monitoring results from
annual surveys and to provide updates regarding the walleye reward tag study
and potential walleye regulation changes. The first of those meetings will be
held Wednesday at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium in Oshkosh. Other meetings
will be held on Monday the 18th at the Engler Center for the Performing
Arts in Chilton and Thursday the 21st at the Mosquito Hill Nature
Center in New London. Meeting times are from 6 until 8 pm for all three
locations.
