Racine being looked at for more than Kringle

They may become known for more than just kringle. The State of Wisconsin is watching to
see what happens next in Racine.
Racine’s city
council ordered the city’s police chief Wednesday night NOT to push for criminal charges
against anyone for marijuana possession. The city wants to treat pot possession
as a civil matter. The goal is to give offenders a ticket that could cost them
as little as $1, rather than going to jail.
