Ramthun Says He “Didn’t Really Mean It”, Referring To Punching Vos

A candidate for Wisconsin governor denies he planned to punch the Speaker of the State Assembly.

State Representative Tim Ramthun says he didn’t really mean it when he said in a recent interview that he wanted to punch Robin Vos in the nose. He claims he was trying to make a point about standing up to bullies.

Ramthun and Vos have clashed verbally ever since the Republican candidate for governor has pushed to have Wisconsin’s 2020 presidential election results decertified.

Vos has maintained there’s no way to do that. Just this week, Vos had Ramthun kicked out of a meeting about the 2020 vote.
