Record Day For COVID-19 In Wisconsin, And Not In A Good Way

A quiet day, relatively speaking on the COVID front for Fond du Lac County. Over 200 tests were processed, with just 32 listed as positive. Active cases dropped by 158, with 189 cases reported as recovered. There was yet another death reported, with Fond du Lac County now climbing to 33. It was yet another record day for COVID-19 in Wisconsin. It took seven months to reach 100,000 positive cases, 36 days to double it, and only 18 more days to top 300,000. Over 18,000 tests were processed on Friday, with 7,777 of them coming back positive. Almost 11,000 negative tests has now pushed the state total to 1,975,512 since the start of the pandemic. Another 274 people were hospitalized, and there were 58 additional deaths.
