Recount Possible in Race for Wisconsin Governor

The race for governor in Wisconsin could be heading towards a recount, as numbers remain tight between Governor Scott Walker and Democrat Tony Evers.

Just before 1:00am, Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch told supporters the campaign would push for a recount if Walker fell short to Evers.

She says a “long, drawn-out recount” is possible.

In order for a recount to be triggered – the losing candidates vote total needs to be within one-percent of the winning candidate’s total.
