Recovered COVID-19 Cases Up, Active Cases Drop, Number Of New Positive Cases Still Concerning

The number of people in Fond du Lac County who have recovered from COVID-19 went up by almost 300 on Monday. The FDL County Health Department reporting there are now over 1,500 recovered cases. The number of negative tests processed also climbed considerably on Monday, with almost 500 tests reported, taking the county over 23,000 since March.

Active cases also saw a sizeable decrease, with a drop of 87. There are now 620 active cases in Fond du Lac County. The concern, obviously, comes in the way of nearly 200 new positive tests that have come in since Friday afternoon. For the first time in four days, Wisconsin dropped below two-thousand new cases on Monday. DHS reported 1,839 new cases of coronavirus, with a positive percentage of just under 22 percent. The seven day average rate now stands at just over 18 percent as of Monday afternoon.
