Red Granite Man Arrested In FDL County, Faces 5th OWI

A Saturday morning traffic stop results in a Red Granite man being arrested for his 5th OWI. Wisconsin State Patrol made the stop just before 10:25 a.m. Saturday, after reports of a vehicle speeding on southbound I-41. A 2012 Dodge Caliber was being driven in an unsafe manner near Lost Arrow Road, south of Fond du Lac, and was subsequently pulled over with the 51-year old male driver showing signs of impairment. He was given a field sobriety test, along with a blood draw and then arrested.

The man was booked into the Fond du lac County jail and now faces charges of operating while under the influence(5th offense), open intoxicants and speed. Charges are also being referred involving possession of paraphernalia and possession of schedule IV narcotics.
