Red Kettle Contributions Help Local Warming Shelter

The Fond du Lac
Salvation Army is up to 44-percent of their goal for this season’s Red Kettle
Campaign.

The only warming shelter in the county is funded by contributions to
the kettles – and 46 people have already taken shelter this season, whether for
one night or every night. The shelter doors open at 6:00pm every night with
warm meals cooked and served by community groups, and there is enough room for
40 people to stay for the night.

The shelter will also be open Christmas Day.
