Referendum Results

Campaign finance reform or Move To Amend referendums in Fond du Lac and Ripon passed during yesterday’s elections. Seventy-three percent of Fond du Lac residents voted in favor of the referendum and nearly 79 percent of Ripon voters.

Town of Ripon voters approved two referendum questions asking if the Town Treasurer and Town Clerk should be appointed to the Town Board. Each question passed by about 53 percent of the vote.

The Statewide Transportation Referendum that would protect the state transportation fund from being raided also passed in the County with nearly 83 percent in favor.

Both Ripon Schools referendum questions passed with nearly 65 percent in favor of borrowing $29 million for building projects and 61 percent were favor of continuing to fund operational funding of $500,000 a year through the 2020-2021 School Year.
