Regents Approve UW Pay Raises

Some of the top leaders at the University of Wisconsin are getting a raise.

The Board of Regents is approving pay hikes of up to 32-percent for chancellors and the U-W System president.

U-W Madison’s next chancellor could make nearly a million-dollars a year. Regents say they have to raise pay to attract top talent for key openings.

There are also plans for two-percent raises for all state university employees next year.
