Republicans Look To Appeal Ruling On Maps

Republicans on the State Legislature want to appeal a State Supreme Court ruling that picked Governor Tony Evers version of new redistricting maps.

The Court ruled last week that maps supplied by Governor Tony Evers best worked with their request for as few changes to districts as possible.

Leadership in the Legislature wants to bring that to the US Supreme Court and have the State Court put a hold on their ruling.

The Evers version will still give Republicans a majority in the legislature, but not as large of one as they currently have.
