Ribbon Cutting Held AT FDL Humane Society

Envision Greater Fond du Lac hosted a ribbon cutting at member organization, Fond du Lac Humane Society, to commemorate their opening of their new facility and recognize top donors who made this possible.

A few short years ago, the Fond du Lac Humane Society embarked on a capital campaign to expand their facility and services to the Fond du Lac area. The new facility is a $1.8 million, 12,000 square-foot building and has self-contained kennels, an advanced air system, a visitor/pet meeting space, an animal quarantine area, a large outdoor play yard, and expanded parking. The campaign was spearheaded by Vikki Sadoff. She also paid off the mortgage in December, 2020.

This new facility serves as a temporary home to nearly 2,000 animals annually. The new building was funded through the generous support of individuals, businesses, and foundations throughout the area. The Fond du Lac Humane Society, a 501(c)3         non-profit organization, provides human care and treatment to all animals and provides education assistance to the community. Their goal is to find loving homes for all the animals who come to the facility.

The new facility is located at 652 Triangle Road in Fond du Lac. To learn more, please visit them online at fdlhumane.org/
