Ripon Medical Center Named High Performing Hospital by U.S. News & World Report

Ripon Medical Center has been recognized by U.S. News &
World Report as a high performing hospital for treatment of Chronic Obstructive
Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The annual Procedures and Conditions ratings are in
their fifth year, and are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making
informed decisions about where to receive care for common conditions and
elective procedures. The “High Performing” ranking is the highest rating U.S.
News awards for COPD care, and RMC was awarded that ranking in recognition of
care that was significantly better than the national average. The hospital
offers a pulmonary rehab program that helps patients understand their needs and
set goals. RMC’s care also includes a physical activity program and counseling
and education to help patients understand their condition and how to manage it.
