Roehrig Appointed To Community Foundations National Standards Board

There are over 850 Community Foundations in the United States that strive to meet the stringent National Standards by which all community foundations are judged.  Fond du Lac Area Foundation Executive Director Sandi Roehrig was recently asked to serve on the Community Foundations National Standards Board of Directors (CFNSB) and become 1 of the 13 people that sets, carries out, and advances these sets of standards.  Vikki Spruill, President & CEO, Council on Foundations, said, “the CFNSB would like to express its excitement in welcoming Sandi Roehrig to our Board.  Her Thought Leadership and experience in the field of community foundations, including her outstanding work as a National Standards peer reviewer, has been a valuable asset to our team and will continue to of the utmost importance in guiding the work that we do.”

Sandi Roehrig joined the Fond du Lac Area Foundation in 1993 and been the Executive Director since 1995. Since 1995 under Roehrig’s leadership, the Foundation has grown from less than 70 funds to over 315 funds and the market value for the Foundation has grown from $3.6 million to over $32 million today.
