Rollover Accident Injures 2 In Dodge County

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident late Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 PM on Elmwood Rd., near Longview Rd. in the Town of Hustisford. Initial investigation shows that a Honda Pilot was being driven westbound on Elmwood Rd. by a 20 year old female from Neosho, with a 20 year old male passenger from Brookfield in the front passenger seat.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, while swerving to avoid hitting a deer, entering the ditch and causing the vehicle to rollover. The male passenger was ejected, suffering life-threatening injuries, and was transported by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital.  The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Aurora Summit. Speed and not wearing a seatbelt are believed to be contributing factors in the crash. The crash is currently being investigated by both the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
